Henry Wins RCMA Project of the Year Award 2025 for Restoring New Orleans Convention Center Roof

Kimberton, PA – October 28, 2025 – Henry, a Carlisle Company and North America’s leader in building envelope system products and solutions, has won the Roof Coatings Manufacturers Association’s (RCMA) Project of the Year Award for 2025, Gold award.

The RCMA Project of the Year Award honors roofing projects that exemplify innovation, technical expertise, and environmental responsibility with bronze, silver, and gold awards. The Roof Coatings Manufacturers Association promotes the sustainability, energy efficiency, and performance benefits of roof coatings.

Morial Convention Center project exemplifies the forward-thinking innovation that defines today’s roof coatings industry,” said RCMA Executive Director Jenn Brake. “Brazos Urethane’s installation of the Henry Roof Restoration System showcases how advanced coating technologies can deliver high-performance, sustainable solutions for complex, large-scale facilities.”

Henry received the gold RCMA award for its restoration of the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center roof in New Orleans. The RCMA recognized the project for its exceptional scale, precision, and sustainable building practices.

As the nation’s sixth-largest convention facility, the Morial Convention Center spans 11 city blocks and 1.9 million square feet. Instead of costly and disruptive roof tear off and replacement, the project team chose Henry’s spray-in-place insulation and silicone roof coating restoration system. This innovative solution seals seams against water and wind intrusion and delivers long-term protection while supporting the facility’s LEED Gold certification efforts.
