Henry® Company receives ISO 9001:2008 certification renewal
EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Jan. 24, 2017 – Henry Company recently announced the renewal of its ISO 9001:2008 certification for an additional three years for its plants located in Canada (Scarborough, Ont.; Petrolia, Ont.; Lachine, Qué.; and Mirabel, Qué.). The plants combine to manufacture an array of Henry products designed for residential and commercial construction, including solvent-based adhesives, asphalt emulsions, acrylic sealers, roofing underlayments, waterproofing systems and air barrier systems.
The ISO 9001:2008 renewal certifies that Henry Company continues to maintain a quality management system, ultimately leading to consistency in product manufacturing and service. Additionally, it confirms strict attention to detail regarding management responsibility, resource management, product realization, as well as measurement, analysis and improvement to assure conformity of the overall manufacturing process.
“With ISO 9001:2008 certification in place, we continue to maintain a disciplined process and methodology in order to assure the highest level of quality in all of our products,” said Alexandra Pavliuc, Director, Quality Management/Process Engineering, Henry Company. “We are always looking at new ways to evolve our quality management system and are taking the necessary steps to achieve ISO 9001:2015 certification in the near future.”
Henry Company currently is beginning the process to secure ISO 9001:2015 certification, which is required by the year 2018. ISO 9001:2015 expands certification criteria to include a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, and the process approach and continual improvement of the overall quality management system. Henry Company has had ISO certification since 1997.
