Carlisle Companies Completes Its Acquisition of Bonded Logic Creator of UltraTouch™ Recycled Denim Insulation
UltraTouch Denim Insulation Takes on a Growing Role in Henry’s Building Envelope Portfolio
Kimberton, PA (June 30, 2025) – Carlisle Companies is pleased to announce the acquisition of Bonded Logic, which consolidates the assets of Bonded Logic, Inc. and Phoenix Fibers, LLC. Bonded Logic is a U.S. manufacturer of sustainable thermal and acoustical insulation products.
Founded in 2002, Bonded Logic is best known for innovative natural fiber insulation sold under the UltraTouch brand and groundbreaking manufacturing process that delivers multiple insulation densities and thicknesses, installation ease, and sustainability. UltraTouch joins the Henry brand.
“Henry is excited to offer natural fiber insulation nationally under the UltraTouch brand,” said Jim Wueste, Vice President of Waterproofing at Henry. “Combining our forces enables us to continually enhance UltraTouch’s eco-friendly product line and showcase it as the premium insulation of choice for builders, contractors, and homeowners.
Made from 80% post-consumer cotton denim, UltraTouch offers outstanding acoustic and thermal performance in safe, easy-to-install batts. UltraTouch features thousands of tiny air pockets that provide strong soundproofing and thermal protection. The denim insulation is Class A fire-rated, treated with a borate solution that retards flames and prevents the growth of bacteria and fungi.
Because it’s manufactured from natural fibers, UltraTouch Denim Insulation streamlines installation and eliminates the need for specialized installation tools and protective gear. Construction crews can breathe easier and work faster without navigating potential irritants from chemicals, fiberglass, or mineral wool. They can install UltraTouch in attics, joists, walls, and around pipes by simply tearing the perforated denim insulation batts and fitting the insulation snugly into place with their bare hands.
By reusing discarded denim, UltraTouch helps divert 20 million pounds of textile waste from landfills annually, promoting a circular economy and reducing embodied carbon in construction projects.
