Henry® Eaveguard® Self-Adhered Shingle Underlayment provides secondary waterproofing protection behind shingles and prevents ice damage. It's composed of a high-tack rubberized asphalt and glass fiber mat. Sand on the upper surface provides a slip-resistant working surface. With the direct-to-deck application, Eaveguard is designed to offer protection in vulnerable areas of steep-slope roofs such as eaves, valleys, rakes; roof-to-wall connections; flashing around chimneys and skylights, and roof vents and other penetrations.
