Henry® Blueskin® VP160 Self-Adhered Water Resistive Air Barrier System provides a proven choice for a luxury apartment project

The Situation

Located along the Passaic River waterfront in the transit-friendly town of Harrison, New Jersey, Dey & Bergen is a new 242-unit luxury apartment development that’s just a short PATH ride from NYC. When it was time to select an air barrier system for the 300,000 square-foot, $44.5 million build, the project’s developers and designers – BNE Realty and Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners – wanted to do it right the first time.

The Solution

Fortunately, BNE Realty and Minno & Wasko had recently used the Henry Blueskin VP160 Self-Adhered Water Resistive Air Barrier System on a similar multifamily build with great success. Blueskin VP160 proved to be a system they could rely on for a smooth, trouble-free installation. Plus, the project support provided by Henry advisors proved to be equally reliable. Wanting to repeat their success with an air barrier manufacturer and system they could trust, BNE Realty and Minno & Wasko once again went with the Henry team and the Blueskin VP160 Self-Adhered Water Resistive Air Barrier System.

The Results

Installed by FM Construction Group of East Orange, NJ, Blueskin VP160 went up with no problems. The Dey & Bergen building now has a world-class air barrier system that the developer and architect know will be protecting the structure and its residents from moisture, mold, and energy loss for years to come.
