Blue Seal is a one-step, water-based, liquid applied waterproofing membrane for exterior foundation walls. Blue Seal combines the features of a sealer and an elastomeric waterproofing membrane. It is a single component elastomeric waterproof product based on ETV copolymer rubber. High solids content and a soft creamy consistency make this material effective for waterproofing and sealing concrete, polystyrene insulation board, foam insulation, Insulated Concrete Forms (I.C.F.), wood and other common surfaces. Blue Seal cures to a seamless, impermeable, non-deteriorating rubber membrane that allows for expansion and contraction over a wide range of temperatures. It can easily bridge cracks up to 1.5 mm (1/16"). Blue Seal is VOC compliant and does not contain any volatile or harmful solvents, thus eliminating health and environmental considerations during application. Blue Seal is non-toxic through the use of advanced polymer technology that allows for simple, safe application and easy clean up. It has the durability to protect against water, salts, radon gas, fungi, algae and bacteria, and maintains its superior performance properties when exposed to common soil  conditions. Blue Seal has been specifically formulated to provide positive exterior waterproofing for foundation walls. It may be applied to most common surfaces and is suitable for both new and restoration construction.
