Henry 605 – 80# Mineral-Surfaced Underlayment is a tough asphalt and fiberglass sheet with neutral color granules. Often used as a buffer layer underlayment over nailable decks or irregular substrates, it provides a smooth base for built-up roof systems for new and reroofing application. The substrate surface must be smooth enough to prevent puncturing the buffer layer under normal roof traffic. Also used for base flashing and parapet wall covering that specify Monolithic protective and/or reflective coatings.
