Built-Up Roofing
What is Built-up Roofing?
A built-up roof is a roof membrane assembly that consists of multiple layers of roll roofing. These multiple layers of roll roofing are glued together with a roofing adhesive cement and serve as a waterproofing membrane for the structure. Built-up roofs offer excellent durability, are easy to maintain, and relatively lightweight. The roofing adhesive process also eliminates the hazards of using hot asphalt. Safer, simpler and more efficient, roofing adhesive applications do not require specialized equipment, and produce a stronger, more reliable roof.
